Smokin' Pulled Pork in 50 Minutes-- oh ya
We picked up one of these bad boys at Williams Sonoma yesterday. Was able to make pulled pork in one third the normal time— Tender, moist, and fast!

How to demotivate your team and lose their respect...
It’s a cultural norm at the company my friend works at, that new employees are treated to lunch on their first day by the team. Today, her boss notified her that because of the snow storm, she, her boss, and the new employee were the only folks who were in the office. You would think this would get her a few props— but no, not at this company. She was then told that the lunch was...

10 Killer Horror Movies You May Have Missed
It’s that time again— Halloween is just around the corner. Who doesn’t love a creepy movie this time of year? Being a big horror fan, it’s difficult for me to pick my favorites and I’m not going to try. Instead this year I have created a list of great horror films that may have snuck by you. By Mark Nassal 1. Fido Welcome to Willard, a small town lost in the...

Cinnamon Spice Coffee and Fall: A Classic Combo
Instant coffee is back better that ever with VIA By Mark Nassal Starbucks recently came out with a new coffee product called VIA. VIA is an instant coffee reformulated for the twenty-first century. The initial rollout included a medium and dark roast. Both are great! I carry a couple packages of each in my backpack and computer bag for when I’m out of the house. It’s also a great...

I Wear My Heart On My Chest; Literally
Luemond quite literally wears his little golden heart on his chest. How can you not trust a guy that vulnerable? He now watches over the sfp101.com office from high above, seated next to Jason Varitek bobble head. He was a birthday gift from my daughter today who does soft sculptures in her free time. You can find more of her and her creative friends artwork at Etsy.com

My New Kentucky Friend: Warm your little hart with...
Single Malt Scotch bores me. Vodka has become yet another clear and tasteless mouthwash, Tequila may be sweet and lively, but not a warming friend on New England nights. What has become my new object of affection is a Kentucky Strait Bourbon by the name of Maker’s Mark. Oh ya, Iv’e tried just about all the small batch bourbons such as Knob Creek, Baker’s, Gentleman Jack, and...

Upgrade to Ubuntu 10.04: Smooth and Sexy
With fingers crossed I upgraded my Asus Laptop to Ubuntu 10.04 yesterday. The previous upgrade to 9.10 required quite a bit of fixing and finessing after the upgrade. So, as you can imagine I was a little tentative about this upgrade. Thankfully, the process was painless and went off without a hitch. The UI update is a welcome improvement as well as many bug fixes. If you have an hour or two to...
