My New Kentucky Friend: Warm your little hart with the Maker

Single Malt Scotch bores me. Vodka has become yet another clear and tasteless mouthwash, Tequila may be sweet and lively, but not a warming friend on New England nights. What has become my new object of affection is a Kentucky Strait Bourbon by the name of Maker’s Mark.
Oh ya, Iv’e tried just about all the small batch bourbons such as Knob Creek, Baker’s, Gentleman Jack, and Woodford Reserve. They are all interesting distillations, but where is the value? Big bucks does not a Down home elixir make.
Warm, rich carmel color and flavor, hint of Oak, and a well balanced sweetness all at a value price. Whether you like your corn whisky strait-up or mellowed in Coke or Ginger Ale, give the Maker a try.
