Upgrade to Ubuntu 10.04: Smooth and Sexy
With fingers crossed I upgraded my Asus Laptop to Ubuntu 10.04 yesterday. The previous upgrade to 9.10 required quite a bit of fixing and finessing after the upgrade. So, as you can imagine I was a little tentative about this upgrade. Thankfully, the process was painless and went off without a hitch.
The UI update is a welcome improvement as well as many bug fixes. If you have an hour or two to kill give it a shot.
